I don't think she's using JSON-LD - I think she's using one of the other structured data methods (they all pretty much are based on schema.org and are just different ways of doing same thing) but Hannah's blog uses structured data and while looking at it, look what I found -

The errors and warnings - that's what I'm trying to avoid in my JSON-LD implementation of structured data, trying to get my generation of the data to always be error free.
The one error I am currently getting, in the breadcrumb, appears to be a case where's Google's tool differs from the schema.org specification. I'm trying to find out more.
